Position Description:

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Zhan, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Iowa. The Zhan laboratory currently focuses on addressing gene functions in the development of myeloma with an emphasis on cancer stem cell, elucidating molecular mechanisms of drug resistance and identifying new targets for myeloma therapy by using both primary myeloma samples and mouse models. This position will be supported by the NIH T32 grant for two years. The successful candidate should also be highly motivated and independent. In addition, the candidate should have written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to work as a leading researcher in the lab.  Please email your CV with brief description of previous research and contact information for three professional references to Dr. Zhan’s email:


Education Requirement:

MD/Ph.D or Ph.D degree in Cellular or Molecular Biology with a good publication record.

Required Qualifications:
