Work Schedule

Part/Full TimeFull Time Position
Hours:7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Details: 40 hours per week will be accomplished on day shifts between 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and on call shifts.
Work Week:Rotating
Details: Rotating days off. Required to work three weekends in a six-week cycle. Required to work six call shifts in a six-week cycle.
Additional Hours:Hours may vary based on department needs. If an external applicant is selected, a two week orientation M-F 8am-4:30pm is required.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
Desired Qualifications:IV certification and telemetry.
Duties:Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients. In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.


1.Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.

2.Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
