| Position Description: | The laboratory of Dr. Li Wu in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Post-Baccalaureate Research Intern. The intern will work in a research laboratory that investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying viral replication and host immune responses. The Wu lab highly values teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. The intern will help an ongoing research project to further understand SAMHD1-mediated regulation of innate immunity during SARS-CoV-2 infection This position is designed for individuals who: • Seek training, experience, and mentoring in a research setting • Plan to pursue a graduate or professional degree in science, medicine, or a related field • Have US citizenship or permanent residency See Post-Baccalaureate Research Internship website: http://research.uiowa.edu/students/post-baccalaureate-research-internship |
