| Position Description: | The long-term goal of the Glykys laboratory is to identify novel strategies to treat seizures and cytotoxic edema. The Research Intern will be responsible for conducting and analyzing experiments on neuronal swelling in mice using two-photon imaging and for employing electrophysiological techniques. The primary focus is the study of neuronal swelling, particularly during the neonatal period. The candidate will work independently under the close supervision of Dr. Joseph Glykys and other members of the Glykys lab. The position is within the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Neurology. Position Responsibilities:
