Position Description: | The Research Intern will provide support for the Emergency Medicine research program by performing activities in specialized patient areas, screening and enrolling study subjects for clinical trials, collecting data, and performing operational duties associated with the clinical research. Education Requirement: | Bachelor’s degree to be completed by hire date. |
Required Qualifications: | Required Qualifications: Training, experience and mentoring in a research setting. Plan to pursue a graduate degree, post-graduate training, or professional degree in science, medicine or a related field. Proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office. |
Desirable Qualifications: | Training or experience in a medical or health care setting Emergency Medicine experience/exposure highly desired. Anticipated career in medicine or a healthcare profession desired. Familiarity with medical terminology desired. Prior experience in clinical trials or research study/design/enrollment |
