Position Description:

Dr. David Price is seeking a post-baccalaureate research intern. This person will work in a research laboratory that uses a combination of biochemical, bioinformatic, and molecular genetic approaches to study the regulation of transcription in human cells. A number of cancer models and systems of cytomegalovirus infections are being utilized. A successful candidate will possess a desire to perform at a high level of competence and be willing to contribute to the team effort to accomplish significant goals. Previous training in biochemistry is essential, as is a proven ability to communicate scientific findings effectively. 

Education Requirement:

BS in Biochemistry


Required Qualifications:

Experience in generating and analyzing high quality biochemical data

Proven ability to communicate scientific results effectively

Strong desire to understand transcriptional mechanisms


Desirable Qualifications:

Ability to analyze complex biological phenotypes

Experience with mammalian systems
