| Position Description: | The laboratory of Dr. Li Wu in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Post-Baccalaureate Research Intern. The intern will work in a research laboratory that investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying viral replication and host immune responses. The Wu lab highly values teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. The intern will assist ongoing research projects to better understand SAMHD1-mediated regulation of innate immunity during HIV-1 or SARS-CoV-2 infection.
