The Mandala Lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Iowa is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team. We are a new research lab working at the intersection of biochemistry, structural biology, physiology, and biophysics. PhD degree in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Chemistry/Pharmacology or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in protein purification and functional characterization.


• Proficiency in communicating and writing in English is required.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Experience purifying proteins from mammalian cells.


• Experience with tissue culture and working in a BSL-2 laboratory environment.


• Proven experience in independent research.
