Position Description: | Pharmacist Post-Doctoral Scholar Kennelty Research Group Dept of Pharmacy Practice and Science, College of Pharmacy
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and independent pharmacist post-doctoral candidate with training and expertise in the field of ambulatory care pharmacy. The research projects provide opportunities to have major, positive impacts on human medicine by health care system improvement. The projects will focus on studying the impact of pharmacist involvement in self-measured of blood pressure. This position will offer numerous opportunities for the right candidate to hone their experimental, project management and scientific writing skills, implementation science, and clinical trials by working closely with the PI on setting up the lab and working on grants and manuscripts. Additionally, the pharmacist post-doctoral’s expertise will be strongly enhanced in the general areas of pharmacy services to specialized patient populations to optimize patient outcomes. The initial duration of the position will be for 2 years with a possible renewal dependent upon funding and satisfactory performance.
