Position Description: | Multiple TRACERS Postdoctoral Researcher Positions The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Iowa is searching for multiple postdoctoral research scientists to join the team for the TRACERS Small Explorers mission launching in Q2 2025 (https://tracers.physics.uiowa.edu). The successful candidates will work in collaboration with TRACERS science and engineering team members at the University of Iowa, as well as team members from other institutions. The postdoctoral research scientists will join a vibrant space physics group at the University of Iowa, with current involvement in TRACERS, MAVEN, THEMIS-ARTEMIS, Parker Solar Probe, Juno, MMS, Voyager, and CASSIOPE e-POP, as well as sounding rockets, CubeSats, and technology development efforts. Relocation Incentive The positions are available for a relocation incentive of up to $3,000 if the individual hired is relocating to Iowa City from more than 50 miles away.
