| Position Description: | A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Steven Offer, Ph.D., in the Department of Pathology, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. The Offer laboratory researches genetic and epigenetic contributions to differential drug response (including development of drug-related adverse events, drug resistance, and drug efficacy) in cancer therapy. Applicants should have a strong background in mammalian cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques, with a working knowledge of cancer biology. The selected candidate will be expected to work independently while interacting in a collaborative environment. |
