| Position Description: | Visiting Assistant Professor in Sculpture & Intermedia 2026–27 The University of Iowa School of Art, Art History, & Design (SAAHD) seeks applications for a 50% Visiting Assistant Professor in the Sculpture & Intermedia Area for the 2026–27 academic year. The position receives full benefits and has the option of renewal for up to three years with Department and Collegiate approval. The successful candidate will teach two sculpture courses per semester in the SAAHD Studio Art Division. There will be opportunities to include electronics in the upper-level coursework, but it will not be required. Candidates should describe their experience with relevant equipment, software, and techniques, including the number of years of experience with each, in their CV or cover letter. Research is not a requirement of this position, but a studio space in the Visual Arts Building will be provided for the successful candidate upon hiring.
