| Position Description: | Position Description The Director of Research will play a central leadership role in advancing the Center’s mission through innovative, collaborative, and externally funded research that improves outcomes for schools, educators, school-based mental health providers, and students. The Scanlan Center offers a supportive environment for research growth and impact, including access to extensive, real-world data generated through its professional development and clinical service initiatives, as well as a strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration. This faculty position will have an academic home in one of the College’s four departments: Psychological and Quantitative Foundations, Counselor Education, Teaching and Learning, or Educational Policy and Leadership Studies. The position initially includes three years of departmental support, providing a strong foundation for launching or expanding a research program. Continuation of the position beyond this initial period is contingent upon the successful candidate securing sufficient external funding to support 50% of their salary and associated research activities.
