| Position Description: | INTERNAL SEARCH - Must hold rank of full professor with tenure at the University of Iowa.Reports To: Associate Provost for Faculty and Strategic Operations Position SummaryThe University of Iowa seeks an innovative and collaborative academic leader to serve as Assistant Provost for Faculty Development. This position provides strategic leadership for university-wide efforts that advance faculty success in teaching, research, creative activity, and service across all ranks and appointment types. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Faculty and Strategic Operations and working closely with the Office of the Provost, Associate Deans of Faculty, and other academic leaders, the Assistant Provost designs and coordinates programs that strengthen mentoring, enhance teaching and scholarly excellence, promote collaborative academic environments, and prepare the next generation of academic leaders.
