| Position Description: | The Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplantation in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa is seeking applications for a Research Assistant Professor Thrombosis & Vascular Biology. This is a non-tenure track position, with the appointment contingent upon available funding. We are looking for a highly motivated scientist with passion for scientific research, high standards of ethics and integrity, outstanding communication skills, and can work both independently and as an effective member of a large research team. The candidate will be expected to initiate new research proposals for both intramural and extramural funding opportunities while contributing to ongoing funded research programs within the division and training staff in the laboratory. This is an outstanding opportunity for a research-focused scientist to join a collaborative and innovative academic environment committed to excellence in vascular biology and thrombosis research. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Salary is commensurate to experience.
