Position Description: | Director, Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program The Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program Director at the University of Iowa College of Nursing is an innovative and collaborative individual, committed to the mission of the University of Iowa, and passionate about preparing nurse practitioners to meet the health and healthcare needs of children in Iowa and across the Nation. The director cultivates a program of academic and clinical excellence making the University of Iowa Pediatric Acute Care Program the preferred choice for graduate students, especially in Iowa. The Program Director will receive sufficient release time to support maintenance of certification, clinical expertise, licensure, and continuing professional development specific to the maintenance of certification pediatric acute care. The Pediatric Acute Care Program Director will report directly to the Associate Dean for Graduate Practice Programs and their Division Head.
