Position Description: | Department of Radiology Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Director, Diagnostic Medical Sonography –Education POSITION DESCRIPTION The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a 100% appointment as a Director of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Education in the Radiation Science Program, Department of Radiology. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level and to the instructional track. Appointment at the rank of Instructor (non-track) may also be considered. This position will provide oversight, coordination and leadership of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program by designing, planning, integrating, and evaluating curriculum, and managing enrollment, academic standards and teaching resources. Key areas of responsibility include, admitting, teaching, advising, and retaining students, designing, planning, integrating and evaluating curriculum. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Admit and retain prospective and current students for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
