Position Description: | The History department at the University of Iowa invites applications for a position in the history of South Asia (time period open) at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor, to begin August 2026. Application materials should be submitted electronically to http://jobs.uiowa.edu (refer to requisition #75678) and include a letter of interest addressed to the South Asia History Search Committee, a curriculum vitae (including language proficiencies), a substantial sample of written work, ideally the full dissertation or book manuscript*, a 1-page teaching statement, and a sample syllabus.
