Department of Finance



The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for a non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Position at the levels of Assistant Professor of Instruction or Practice, Associate Professor of Instruction or Practice, or Full Professor of Instruction or Practice starting Fall 2024. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and include a 1-7 year contract with benefits. Education Requirement:

MBA, Master’s, or PhD degree in a related field

Required Qualifications:

Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in any area of finance or a demonstrated high level of teaching competence.

Desirable Qualifications:

We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach an array of different finance classes.
