Position Description: | The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine is recruiting to fill an exciting and rewarding research position.

Education Requirement: | Applicants must have a PhD, MD, DO or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited college or university. |
Required Qualifications: | As minimum qualifications for consideration, applicants must have at least three full years of research demonstrated productivity, experience and/or training beyond their terminal degree. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research; demonstrated potential or ability to obtain an extramurally-funded research program; have strong analytic and writing skills; and evidence of peer-reviewed publications and research productivity commensurate with years of professional experience. PhD applicants should have an interest in primary care research and have a PhD in Epidemiology, Health Policy, Health Services, Community or Behavioral Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Medical Anthropology, Biostatistics, or related field. |
Desirable Qualifications: | Desirable qualifications include the ability to engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration between departments across the university and related organizations. |
