Position Description:

The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and Stead Family Children’s Hospital invites applications for a 100% clinical or tenure track, open rank faculty position within the Department of Radiology. 



This candidate will continue the momentum we have built in creating a growing Vascular & Interventional Radiology Division and an outstanding DR/IR integrated and independent residency program.  Research startup funds and protected time to pursue academic interests are available. 



The candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and thriving Interventional Radiology (IR) program, which benefits from the collaboration and support of other subspecialty programs.



Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.



 

Education Requirement:

  1. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or eligible

  2. Completed an interventional radiology fellowship or IR/DR residency

  3. At least 4 years of post-training experience as an IR faculty

Required Qualifications:

  1. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with clinicians, patients and trainees.

  2. Evidence of leadership and management experience

  3. Candidates for tenure track appointments must have a history of funded research.

  4. Demonstrated experience promoting an inclusive culture in the workforce and academic environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience with teaching.

  2. Strong interest in clinical and lab research.

  3. Working experience in all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology including interventional oncology, peripheral vascular disease, venous interventions, transplant-related and hepatobiliary interventions.
