Position Description:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is accepting applications for a fulltime/parttime faculty member in our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division. Applicants ranging from junior faculty to division director will be considered. This position can be either a tenure track or clinical track faculty position. Responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, clinical care for patients with the full spectrum of disorders seen in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, IVF, and ultrasound services. Clinical or laboratory research is required for the tenure track.



 

Education Requirement:

Successful applicants must possess an M.D. Degree or equivalent and have completed a U.S. residency in obstetrics and gynecology and U.S. fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Required Qualifications:

Required qualifications include excellent clinical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated teaching skills.   Clinical or laboratory research is required for the tenure track.

Certifications:

Certifications include American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology active candidate/board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as subspecialty active candidate/board certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Desirable Qualifications:

Research interest in reproductive endocrinology and infertility is highly desirable.
