Position Description:

THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY is seeking applications for a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join a busy tertiary care practice. The position involves clinical service, research opportunities, and resident and fellow teaching. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in pediatric otolaryngolgy and board certified or board eligible in otolaryngology.  

Education Requirement:

Medical Doctorate or equivalent is required.



ACGME residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery



Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have demonstrated advanced clinical and surgical skills in Pediatric Otolaryngology. 



Applicants must have demonstrated a high level of communication and collaboration.



Applicants must be able to mentor otolaryngology residents and pediatric fellow. 



Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to hold an appointment in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System.



Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.

Certifications:

Candidate must be board eligible or board certified in otolaryngology and eligible for subcertification in pediatric otolaryngology.
