The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is recruiting a full-time electrophysiologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. Candidates must have a MD or equivalent. The candidate will work at UIHC, IRL and outreach locations and may have some clinical effort at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. The candidate will have clinic, work in the UIHC EP lab and have on-call consult responsibilities.
M.D. degree or equivalent
Authorized to work in the U.S.
The successful candidate will have hands on experience in electrophysiology.
Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
A demonstrated record of scholarly work and/or educational involvement and teaching is preferred.
Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research and teaching are preferred.
