Position Description:

The University of Iowa, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting for a BC/BE interventional cardiologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Full Professor.  Candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and be authorized to work in the U.S.  Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, affiliated outreach sites, and the affiliated Iowa City VA Medical Center.  Duties will include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic.  Advanced experience in coronary interventional techniques is required.  Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research, outcomes research and/or teaching are preferred. 



 

Education Requirement:

Candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Required Qualifications:

Advanced experience in coronary interventional techniques is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research, outcomes research and/or teaching are preferred.
