The Department of Accounting within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position(s) in Accounting at the level of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor starting August 17, 2022. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) are 100% time with benefits. Campus visits for candidates applying for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor will be scheduled during the fall semester 2021. Experienced applicants for Assistant, Associate and Full Professor are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure full consideration. Entry level applicants for Assistant Professor who have not already but anticipate receiving their PhD by August 17, 2022 are encouraged to apply before December 1, 2021 for full consideration. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Minimum qualifications for entry level appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor includes a demonstrated potential of scholarly productivity, supported by publications and the promise of ability as a teacher.
Minimum qualifications for experienced level appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor includes an extensive and continuing body of research published in top-tier accounting journals and a demonstrated high level of teaching competence and success in working with doctoral students.
