Position Description:

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Endodontics. Major responsibilities include: 




  • clinical and didactic pre- and post-doctoral teaching in contemporary endodontics;

  • participation in the collegiate intramural dental service plan;

  • research;

  • scholarly activity;

  • and service. 

Education Requirement:

Applicants must have:




  • DDS/DMD or equivalent;

  • by time of appointment, completion of an advanced education program in Endodontics; and

Certifications:

  • ABE Board eligibility or Board certification. 

Desirable Qualifications:

Desirable qualifications include: 




  • M.S. and/or Ph.D. in Oral Science;

  • record of publication and scholarship; and

  • clinical teaching experience.
