The Department of Asian and Slavic Languages and Literatures in the Division of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (DWLLC) at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Korean Linguistics, or Korean Literature and Culture. The successful candidate should be able to envision how they would contribute to the advancement of the Korean Studies Program in terms of curriculum development, research, mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students, and interdisciplinary collaboration with various academic units. The appointment will be a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor, effective August 18, 2021.
