The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa invites applications for a 12-month full-time clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor to begin in January 2021 or sooner.
Master's degree or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology
1) Master’s degree or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology, 2) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), 3) at least 3 years of clinical experience, 4) excellence in speech-language disorders having specific clinical expertise using evidence-based practice in the area of voice disorders, 5) eligible for Iowa licensure, and 6) demonstrates a commitment to promoting a diverse academic environment.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Clinical supervision experience. Additional experience in neurological speech, language or swallowing disorders. Involvement in state and/or national organizations (e.g. ASHA). Demonstrates development and implementation of clinical programming.
