Position Description:

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is recruiting a full-time heart failure cardiologist for a position in the rank of Associate, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor.  Candidates must have a MD or equivalent and be BC/BE in Cardiology. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored employment authorization – sponsorship for H1B status.  The candidate will spend time in outpatient clinic, including outreach clinics, rounding on inpatient cardiomyopathy service, assisting in donor call and endomyocardial biopsies. 

Education Requirement:

MD or equivalent

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have completed a cardiology fellowship and an accredited advanced heart failure fellowship program.



Candidates must have hands on experience in cardiology, specifically focusing on heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.

Certifications:

BC/BE in Cardiology
