The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine has an opening for full-time tenure or non-tenure clinical track faculty in the Cornea and Refractive Disease Service. Individuals are expected to have a strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research in an academic setting.
Applicants must have graduated from a fully accredited ophthalmology residency.
Applicants must have subspecialty training in Cornea Diseases.
Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Iowa.
Must have a strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research in an academic setting.
Candidate must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Previous experience training resident and fellow's.
Experience in clinical or basic science research is highly desirable.
