The University of Iowa, Department of Anesthesia is actively recruiting faculty for its rapidly growing Pediatric Anesthesia group.
Candidates must hold an MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent.
Candidates must be certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists or be in the certification process.
On occasion, individuals trained outside of the United States and who are certified by an equivalent national certification group (e.g. the Royal College of Anesthetists of Canada, Australia, Ireland or Great Britain) may be considered if they possess unique skills and/or experience.
Successful candidates will have completed an approved residency training program in Anesthesiology.
They must also have completed a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship in an ACGME certified (or equivalent) program prior to beginning work at Iowa and must be in good standing in the fellowship program.
It is expected that fellows should pass their Pediatric Anesthesia board certification within two years of fellowship completion.
Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
