POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, ensures compliance with university parking regulations, provides assistance to patients, staff, and students entering parking ramps, and directs to available parking options accordingly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Two years’ experience in a public contact position.
• Experience must include use of computers and/or tablets.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain UI Driving Policy.
• Successfully complete criminal background check.
• State agency employers in Iowa are required to use E-verify to confirm employment eligibility. University of Iowa employees, including those who work remotely or out-of-state, are subject to E-verify.

DESIRABLES:

• Knowledge of University of Iowa campus and locations of various parking facilities.
• Customer service/public contact experience.
• Ability to adapt, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills in order to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds and cultures.

HOURS: 6am-10am Monday-Friday or 11:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
