The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Neurology is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Post-Doctoral Research Scholar. This position will provide scientific and technical leadership in the management, design, and conduct of basic pre-clinical research in the Cerebrovascular Neurointerventional (CVNI) Lab. The postdoc will also participate in didactics, research, and teaching when available.

Duties to include:

• Maintaining clinical databases
• Collecting and analyzing data
• Assisting with writing and revising manuscripts, grant proposals, abstract submission, and publications
• Coordinating and managing clinical trials

Required Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous clinical research experience, including clinical trials and management
• Track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications in neuroscience
