| Details | The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders seeks a Postdoctoral Research Scholar who will oversee the planning and execution of speech perception studies, including stimulus development, participant recruitment, and data collection. The role involves conducting statistical analyses of behavioral and/or neuroimaging data and interpreting results for publication in peer-reviewed journals. The postdoc will also be responsible for designing and programming new experiments, as well as supervising and mentoring undergraduate students involved in lab research activities. Additional responsibilities include contributing to manuscript preparation, presenting findings at national and international conferences, and participating in the intellectual life of the lab and department. Requirements: • PhD in cognitive neuroscience with a research focus on speech perception. • Strong record of publications and conference presentations. • Experience mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. • Expertise with regression, linear mixed-effects modelling (LMEM), growth curve analysis (GCA), generalized additive mixed-effects modelling (GAMM), and Bayesian statistics. • Knowledge of R, MATLAB, and Python. |
