The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine Division of Hematology, Oncology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation is seeking a faculty member with a focus in Data and Safety clinical trial monitoring and compliance and expertise in Oncology to participate in the clinical research missions of UI Health Care. This position will be an adjunct appointment at the rank of Professor. This position will have 10% effort at UI Health Care.

Education Required: Candidates must have an M. D., M.D. Ph.D., or equivalent degree.

Certifications: Board certified or board eligible in Oncology.

Required Qualifications:

Considerable experience with and participation on clinical trials.

Experience with investigator initiated and cooperative group trials.

Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and procedures.

Active participation in cancer center related research activities.

Experience with cancer center related grant activities.

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Desirable Qualifications:

Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research are preferred.
