School of Library and Information Science is hiring an adjunct instructor for the 2026 Summer Term. The adjunct instructor will teach SLIS:6115 Introduction to Research Methods in Library and Information Science for 3 semester hours of credit.

Requirements:

  • An MLIS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program.
  • A national LIS research profile as evidenced by peer reviewed LIS research publications and presentations.
  • Experience applying quantitative/qualitative methodology in LIS research and grant procurement contexts.

 

Desirable:

  • Some higher education teaching experience preferred.
