Under direct supervision assists Central Service Technicians in the performance of duties related to the assembly and distribution of sterile products and instrumentation to the Operating Rooms and clinics.

**This position will be located at the Integrated Services Center in Coralville, IA

**Schedule options: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

·         Prepare carts and surgical containers for decontamination.

·         Inspect, fold and package reusable linen towels, pillowcases and sheets.

·         Prepare reusable containers for assembly into instrument trays.

·         Wrap surgical trays in disposable tray wrap.

·         Transport items to sterilization area.

·         Empty cart washer and transport cart to cart storage area.

·         Inventory and fill supply modules in the sterile core area.

·         Unpack and put away supplies as needed.

·         Other tasks as assigned.

Hours limitation: This position is limited to 780 hours per fiscal year. Hours will reset on July 1^st.

Pay rate: $17/hour
