POSITION SUMMARY:The Division of Student Life; Recreational Services is seeking a Sport Club Instructor to provide coaching or instruction for the Women's Ice Hockey Sport Club.

Duties to include:

• Instruct age and skill appropriate lessons.
• Evaluate and offer feedback to participants.
• Assist with forming of sport club.
• Provide instruction to help sport club members learn new skills and/or improve existing skills.
• Support sport club when engaging in competition.
• Be a positive example by creating social fellowship.

Work Week: May work weekends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use independent judgment as needed.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups through a variety of situations.
• Must be able to accommodate a variable work schedule that may include evenings, weekends travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP) Level 1
• Ability to complete a USA Hockey SafeSport Training
