The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Bone Healing Research Lab (located on the Oakdale Research Campus in Coralville) is looking for undergraduate research assistants.
This position is for up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week in the summer. Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle, Cambus, or other form of transportation) and be available evenings and weekends.
Duties for the position include: assisting with daily laboratory activities, assisting with animal care, record keeping, data entry, and general laboratory cleaning.
Previous laboratory experience required.
Desired Qualifications include experience with research animals, interest in Orthopaedic research, Science or Engineering major, and experience with data entry.
