To apply for most P&S positions, you must sign up for a Jobs@UIOWA username and password. Once you have successfully become a member of Jobs@UIOWA, you may use your username and password to log into the system and fill out a General Employment Application.
After completing your General Employment Application, you can perform a job search to find a job you would like to apply for. Click on the job title to view the job's details and "Online Application Options". If you would like to apply, click the "Apply For This Position" button to start the application.

The department recruiting for the vacancy will review résumés and compare the information to the requirements of the position. The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity will review and approve the proposed interview list prior to the department beginning the interview process.Top of Page

After the interview process is completed and the information is reviewed by the hiring department, a summary of the information will be submitted for review by the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity. If the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity approves the department's recommended candidate, the hiring department may make a valid job offer.
