  • University of Iowa staff have the opportunity to visit and/or work with expert physicians and specialists in a variety of disciplines, from prenatal to elderly health care, as well as programs in holistic care.
  • The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics feature state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Several UIHC clinics are rated in the top 20 in the nation according to US World and News Report. Over 150 UIHC physicians were selected for inclusion in the 2005 "Best Doctors in America" database, a leading resource for linking consumers with expert medical care. Our nurses were the first in the state to receive Magnet status, the highest level of recognition the American Nurses Credentialing Center affords to organized nursing services in the national and international health care communities.
