The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics feature state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Several UIHC clinics are rated in the top 20 in the nation according to US World and News Report. Over 150 UIHC physicians were selected for inclusion in the 2005 "Best Doctors in America" database, a leading resource for linking consumers with expert medical care. Our nurses were the first in the state to receive Magnet status, the highest level of recognition the American Nurses Credentialing Center affords to organized nursing services in the national and international health care communities.
UI liveWELL programs offer staff on-site health care through health fairs, blood drives, free flu vaccinations, individual consultation, and numerous other services.
