|Duties:||Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) and/or Health Care Services Manager, functions as a member of the urgent care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the urgent care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.|
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduation from high school, and
2. Current paramedic certification by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, and
3. Current course completion card in Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart association, and
4. Current course completion card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association, and
5. Minimum one (1) year advanced life support field experience as an emergency response paramedic, or current ER experience with a history of advanced life support field experience.
