Job Details

Background Check:Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
Additional Information:Employee will be at risk of Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure. This is a floater position to be assigned across various campus locations as needed.
Desired Qualifications:Custodial experience. Project work knowledge and use of custodial equipment. Experience with "green cleaning" products, equipment and cleaning techniques. Comfortable working around a pool.
Duties:Essential (Primary) Functions
1. Empty wastebaskets and remove trash from bldg. daily.
2. Dust furniture and surfaces weekly.
3. Polish stainless steel surfaces and clean entrance glass daily.
4. Dustmop and vacuum floors daily.
5. Thoroughly wet mop hallway/public area floors weekly.
6. Clean blackboards/whiteboards daily.
7. Buff and auto scrub floors daily.
8. Remove and replace bulbs as needed.
9. Pick up trash and sweep exterior entrances.
10. Stock cart and custodial.
11. Dust all restroom, wet mop restroom floor.
12. Wet clean and disinfect surfaces and fixtures daily.
13. Refill restroom soap, tissue, towels.
Marginal (Secondary) Functions
1. Clean upholstery annually.
2. Wash all windows semi annually.
3. Wash all walls semi annually .
4. Power clean carpets annually.
5. Wipe down and wash equipment daily.
6. Strip and wax hard surface floors annually.


Ability to read, write and follow directions.
