Work Schedule

Details: 40 hours a week will be accomplished between the times of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 11:00 AM -11:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, or 7PM - 7:30 AM
Work Week:Rotating
Details: 48 hours will be accomplished on the weekends in a 6 week scheduling period.
Additional Hours:External candidates must complete a 2-3 week orientation. Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM.

Job Details

Background Check:Background checks(criminal history, child/dependent adult sexual abuse) will be conducted on final candidates.
Desired Qualifications:Preferred candidates will possess: direct patient-care experience, experience working in a health care environment, strong communication skills, experience providing customer service relations, and be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Duties:Under direct supervision of Registered Nurses, performs specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform patient personal hygiene such as bathing, toileting, feeding, dressing, grooming and oral care for patients.
Assist patients with bedpans, urinals and perineal cleansing.
Turn, position and ambulate patients.
Take temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
Enter daily patient record charting in computer.
Perform simple diagnostic/therapeutic procedures (i.e., dressing changes).
Clean equipment, patient bedside area and nursing unit.
Set up rooms for patient admission.
Transport patients by bed, cart or wheelchair.
Transport equipment, specimens and supplies.
Stock and supply patient rooms and Nursing unit.
Perform basic CPR as required.
Maintain patient confidentiality.

Aptitudes required in order to perform responsibilities:
Work in an environment with conflicting demands and/or priorities and rushed and/or urgent timelines.
Manage multiple assignments and provide quick reaction and immediate response to emergencies.
Maintain attention to detail over extended period of time and continually be aware of variations in changing situations.
Strong communication skills and a tolerance for an active work environment with potential for negative behavior.
Work well with all levels and types of people.


Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
