Work Schedule

Part/Full TimeFull Time Position
Hours:07:30 AM to 05:30 PM
Details: 40-hours per week will be accomplished between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM in either 8 or 10 hour shifts.

  • Drivers License
* Plus the ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Driving Record Review Standards.
Other Special Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
Desired Qualifications:Prefer candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills. Prefer candidates with previous experience providing direct patient care in or demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular services.
Duties:Function within the scope of the practical nursing license to assist physician, advanced practice provider and/or RN with patient care. Perform technical assessment, administer medications, and assist with minor procedures/treatment. Additionally, may be assigned to manage clinic programs. Travel is required to support clinical outreach locations.


1. Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.

2. Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
