Job Details

Background Check:Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
Additional Information:Position has Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure risk.
Desired Qualifications:Prefer previous custodial experience. Project work knowledge and use of custodial equipment. Experience with "green cleaning" products, equipment, and cleaning techniques.
Duties:Essential (Primary) Functions
1. Empty wastebaskets and remove trash from bldg. daily.
2. Dust furniture and surfaces weekly.
3. Polish stainless steel surfaces and clean entrance glass daily.
4. Dustmop and vacuum floors daily.
5. Thoroughly wet mop hallway/public area floors weekly.
6. Clean blackboards daily.
7. Buff and auto scrub floors daily.
8. Remove and transport recycle and infectious waste daily.
9. Power clean carpets annually.
10. Pick up trash and sweep exterior entrances.
11. Stock cart and custodial.
12. Dust all restroom, wetmop restroom floor.
13. Wet clean and disinfect surfaces and fixtures daily.
14. Refill restroom towels, soap, tissue.
15. Strip and wax hard surface floors annually.
Marginal (Secondary) Functions
1. Shovel and remove snow from walks as required.
2. Wash all windows semi annually.
3. Wash all walls semi annually .
4. Remove and replace bulbs as needed.
5. Wipe down and wash equipment daily.
6. Clean upholstery annually.


Ability to read, write and follow directions.
