Work Schedule

Shift:Rotating/Not Straight
Details: Primarily evening and overnight shifts between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. with additional on-call shifts.
Work Week:Rotating
Details: Primarily Monday-Friday work week with occasional weekends and holidays.

Desired Qualifications:Preferred candidates will have direct patient care experience in an operating room. Experience working in a health care environment. Able to scrub surgical procedures. Strong written communication skills, open heart experience, and experience working with pediatric patients.
Duties:Under the direction of a registered professional nurse assists with surgical procedures; provision of therapeutic, preventive and emergency patient care duties; and preparation, operation and maintenance of routine and complex equipment, instruments and supplies.


MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Satisfactory completion of a vocational or military course in surgical technology, or certification as a surgical technologist.
