Position Description:

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time 1–3 year renewable fixed term Associate position in Clinic Administration.  The position is available August 1, 2021. 

Major responsibilities include: 

  • didactic and clinical instruction of pre-doctoral students in the College of Dentistry’s Admissions Clinic;

  • screening and routing of patients;

  • instruction in management of urgent care patients; and

  • active participation in the department faculty practice plan. 

Candidate of choice will be expected to provide urgent care including extraction and root canal therapy.  

Education Requirement:

Applicants must have: 

  • DDS/DMD from an ADA-accredited institution; 

Required Qualifications:

  • license to practice in the State of Iowa, or eligible for a Faculty Permit, issued by the Iowa Board of Dentistry; and

  • relevant clinical practice experience in an academic setting, including extraction and root canal therapy.
