Position Description:

THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA



The Department of Mathematics at The University of Iowa invites applications for a full-time instructional track faculty position starting in August 2019.  Responsibilities include contributing to the Department’s multidimensional educational mission, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and making service contributions to the Department, University and the discipline. Continued professional development is also expected and supported.



The course load for this position is three courses per semester.



A Ph.D. in a Mathematics field is required by the start date for this position. Prior teaching experience is required.  Selection will be primarily based on evidence of excellence in teaching.  Screening of applications will begin January 1, 2019. Education Requirement:
